Our aim is to seek the pleasure of Allah — by providing the English-speaking Ummah with the tools to understand the Quran in the language it was revealed.
Every course here is designed for English-speaking Muslims — structured, clear, and focused on one goal: understanding the Quran in the language it was revealed. These resources are freely offered as a service to the Ummah. No sign-up. No paywall. No condition.
Every Muslim recites the Quran, but most do so without understanding a word of it. That is not a failure of intelligence or commitment — it is simply a gap that no one has filled in the right way.
ILMHUB exists to fill that gap. The goal is straightforward: help English-speaking Muslims understand the language of the Quran, directly, without needing a translator between them and the words of Allah ﷻ.
Allah ﷻ describes the Quran as easy. Our experience teaching thousands of English-speaking Muslims confirms this — when Arabic is taught the right way, it is not as hard as people fear. The difficulty is usually in the method, not the language.
The courses at ILMHUB are designed and taught by a specialist Quranic Arabic teacher with extensive experience working with adult English-speaking learners — people with busy lives, no prior Arabic background, and a genuine desire to connect with the Quran.
The teaching approach comes from years of understanding exactly where English speakers get stuck, what explanations click, and how to make classical Arabic grammar feel intuitive rather than intimidating. Every lesson is built from that experience.
The full structured courses — with video lectures, slide decks, worksheets, and ongoing feedback — are available on ILMHUB.net. The free lessons here on ILMHUB.org follow the same methodology and are a genuine starting point, not a watered-down preview.
Most Arabic courses either focus on Modern Standard Arabic (not what the Quran uses) or jump straight into grammar rules without giving students a framework to hang them on. We do neither.
You learn how Arabic works — the underlying pattern — so you can decode any verse, not just a list you've memorised.
Every word, example, and exercise is taken directly from the Quran. No dialect, no Modern Standard where it differs.
Explanations are built for how English speakers think — not translated from Arabic-speaker assumptions.
Each lesson builds on the last. By the end of a book, everything connects — nothing is isolated.
ILMHUB.org hosts the free versions of all published courses. The full courses — with more depth, exercises, and personalised feedback — are at ILMHUB.net.
